Finishing our series, “Am I gifted?” Some of our Staff Pastors teach us where what love truly is. What if, everyday this week, you woke up and prayed “Lord, today I want to pursue you and pursue your love, and I will use whatever gift I have to do so.”
Just as God sent his Son to us, he is also sending you to be love. We know the greatest commandment is to love. We have Jesus as our guide and the ultimate example of love. We experience God as we obey him and we come to know him more intimately as he accomplishes his work through us. Obedience starts right now. God knows we’re imperfect but, he wants our best. What’s more, God doesn’t want people who simply obey, he wants people who love! You can obey without love, but you can’t love God without obeying him. Let’s be people who abound in love, excel in obedience, and experience God.
