More ways to give

Many banks offer this service to send checks on your behalf. It’s great because we do not incur any finance charges, so your whole contribution goes toward ministry! You can set this up as a one time deposit, or on a recurring basis (and you manage it from your bank account). This is the “payee” information your bank needs: Life Center 1202 N. Government Way Spokane, WA 99224.

Typical steps for setting it up with your bank:

  1. Log in to your bank’s online account or mobile app
  2. Navigate to the bill pay section
  3. Add the payees you want to pay
  4. Enter the payee’s information, including their name, address, and account number
  5. Select the payment amount and date
  6. Review your configurations and confirm

Here are some additional tips for using bill pay:

  • If you’re paying a bill for the first time, you may need to add the provider to your bill pay service.
  • You can set up recurring payments for bills that are the same each month.

Mail your check to 1202 N Government Way, Spokane WA 99224 or drop it in the secure lockbox at the North entrance. You may also request a postage-paid envelope by calling 509.327.4422 or emailing kellya@lifecenter.net.

A bequest or planned gift can provide opportunities to reach future generations for Christ. You can plan a gift today or after your lifetime, often with tax benefits. If you would like to discuss your estate plans with a professional, please email our Operations Pastor, Angelina Miller, CPA. angie@lifecenter.net.

  • Life Insurance: simply name Spokane Foursquare Church as a beneficiary
  • Stock donations: email angie@lifecenter.net to discuss how to gift stock, one of the most beneficial strategies in gift-giving

For those who are 70.5 or older and taking distributions from your IRAs and other retirement plans, you can make a charitable contribution directly from those accounts in a way that is tax-advantaged to you. Simply work with your plan administrator to have a distribution check sent to Life Center at 1202 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224.

Giving Portal Payment methods

You can give using most major debit or credit cards. Simply add the card in the giving portal and your information will be saved.

  • For every credit or debit donation, we are charged a 2.2% processing fee. If you are interested in seeing the ministry dollars stretch further, using the ACH payment method is a great option.

An ACH (Automated Clearing House) transaction is an electronic money transfer from your bank. Its advantage is regardless of the donation amount, we only incur a $.30 fee, making each donation go further.

Set this up through the giving portal, under add new payment method select US bank account.

You will then be prompted to select your bank and verify your account. See step by step article here.

Notes on the verification process

Ownership of a bank account needs to be verified before it can be used for donations. Verification confirms:
  • The donor has access to the connected bank account
  • Permission has been given to withdraw money
  • The correct account has been connected

There are two types of bank verification:

  • Instant Verification: Bank accounts are verified using the donor’s login credentials for their bank’s website. Most banks support instant verification, and there’s no waiting time.
  • Manual (Micro-Deposit) Verification: Manual verification will verify the account using a $0.01 micro-deposit. This process generally takes 2-3 days since donors must verify the account by entering the SM-code attached to the micro-deposit they received. After a donor initiates a donation with a new bank account using manual micro-deposit verification, they will see the account added to their Payment Methods. The account will have an Unverified status beside it and cannot be used for donations until it’s verified. Once it is verified, call Kelly at the Life Center office 509.327.4422 to help you finish.
